The latest defection from the American Democratic Party is Robert F. Kennedy who has endorsed Donald J. Trump in the US Presidential campaign. As an independent candidate for President of the United States, Kennedy has explained his decision at an “Address to the Nation” last night.
However, he is not alone. It is a well-trodden path. Donald Trump was originally a supporter of the Democratic Party but when he saw the decline in America, Trump nailed his colours to the Republican Party.
Elon Musk has followed the same pathway. In his recent record-breaking discussion with Donald Trump on X.com he explained his journey from the Democratic Party to supporting Donald Trump and the Republican Party’s agenda.
This journey is rather similar to the common saying in Britain that young people begin as socialists (voting for the Labour Party) and become capitalists (voting for the Conservatives) whenever they own a car, or a house or have some savings.
I suggested this dream ticket months ago. Kennedy gave a devastating critique of the American Democratic Party and Kamala Harris as he endorsed Trump. He said that Democrats are no longer champions of the Constitution. He asked how “the Democratic Party chose a candidate that has never done an interview or debate during the entire election cycle. We know the answers. They did it by weaponising the Government agencies. They did it by abandoning democracy. They did it by suing the opposition and by disenfranchising American voters.”
