The next meeting of SCP Inverness branch:

The coronavirus pandemic has interfered with public meetings of the Inverness branch of the Scottish Christian Party, usually scheduled monthly at 7 p.m. in Kingsview Christian Centre, Balnafettack Road, Inverness IV3 8TF. These are cancelled until further notice but all are welcome to get in touch with Donald on 01463 796952.

I have a weekly political meeting on Thursday 9:30 p.m. GMT (UK-time) which you are welcome to join.

I have a weekly Bible study on Friday 7:30 p.m. GMT (UK-time) which you are welcome to join.

The SNP wants another referendum for Scotland’s separation from the UK. However, 1. Nicola Sturgeon said in the Scottish Parliament that the 2014 Referendum would be a “once in a lifetime” referendum. 2. the SNP Government’s Scotland’s Future, 2013, described the 2014 Referendum as “a once in a generation opportunity”. 3. Alex Salmond made it quite clear in an interview with Andrew Marr in 2014 that the referendum was a “once in a generation” opportunity, but within a year in 2015 he said that a second referendum was inevitable but the timing was “in the hands of Nicola Sturgeon” [2’09], suggesting she will live much longer than a generation and will still be First Minister!

Winter 2019-2020 programme:

Our 2019-2020 Winter programm was interrupted by the snap General Election on 12 Dec 2019.

Email inverness@scottishchristianparty.org for more details.

Our summer 2019 programme has concluded and our 2019-2020 winter programme began with supporting Christians in personal witnessing through ordinary, intelligent Christian conversation.

Our winter 2018 programme of Public Conversations has concluded and the next phase in our local programme is to provide coaching to develop personal Christian conversation in your daily life.

Collectively,
1. we need Christian voices in public;
2. we need faith, courage and Christian conviction to speak up; but
3. this needs training because there are so few Christian mentors in the public arena.

There are many advantages to having a Christian political party, and one of these is to provide training in personal development to have a Christian voice.  Even the best need coaching.  The best sporting personalities have multiple coaches.

Monthly meetings: the Inverness branch of the Scottish Christian Party meets on the third Tuesday of each winter month (Sep to April) at 7 p.m. either in Kingsview Christian Centre, Balnafettack Road, Inverness IV3 8TF or alternating each month with public lectures in various locations around the city from Oct 2018; the telephone and venue details are below.  All welcome.

Email inverness@scottishchristianparty.org for more details.
