What is Christianity?

Christianity is that divine worldview explained and introduced to world consciousness and world affairs by the Lord Jesus Christ, the Son of God 2Jn 1:3.

Jesus focuses on the big questions in life – why we are here, Who made us, where we are going after death, and how do we prepare for it?

Some people think that Christianity is simply a way of life, a philosophy for religious people, or simply an opinion, and a weird one at that.

Christianity is much more than that and it benefits all of mankind. However, it does not save us. It is Jesus Christ Who saves sinners, and Christianity shows us how. Christianity is essential for the well-being of world affairs. For too long the rulers of the world have ignored Christianity and the claims of Jesus as the Prince of peace Isa 9:6.

It is time for preachers to preach to the nation as well as to individuals, to kings and to those in authority.

“All the kings of the earth shall praise thee, O LORD, when they hear the words of Thy mouth.”

Psalms 138:4

We have many modern pseudo-prophets making pretentious claims in the name of Christianity, but it is time that they took a leaf out of the books of the Old Testament prophets and preached to kings and rulers to repent, to support the Gospel, and thereby to learn to worship the true God and lead their nations towards the “peace on Earth, goodwill towards men” Lk 2:14 that the angels announced upon the Advent of the Lord Jesus into this world more than 2000 years ago. It is long overdue.

The secular experiment has failed with broken hearts, broken homes and broken nations still at war with each other. There are homeless, hungry and hopeless young people, unemployed with vacant faces. Those who do have homes experience domestic abuse too often.

“There is a type of people whose teeth are like swords, and their jaw teeth like knives, to devour the poor from off the earth, and the needy from among men.”

Proverbs 30:14

It is time for kings and queens to act as caring fathers and mothers to their nations Isa 49:23.

When will they begin?
